NCTC hosts student art show and scholarship fundraiser
North Central Texas College (NCTC) welcomed community members, donors, and supporters to the Denton Campus for the Masterpieces That Matter Student Art Show and Auction, an evening dedicated to celebrating emerging artists and raising vital scholarship funds for Denton County students.
The event opened with remarks from Dr. Jessica DeRoche, who welcomed guests to the campus and provided a brief update on enrollment and academic programs offered at NCTC. Dr. DeRoche also expressed gratitude to the Greater Denton Arts Council for partnering with NCTC to make the event possible, and thanked attendees for their continued support of student success.
Sara Kluth, NCTC Campus Coordinator for Flower Mound, thanked the talented student artists whose work was featured in the auction, noting the exceptional creativity on display. “We have some amazing artists at NCTC, these are truly Masterpieces That Matter,” Kluth said. She also recognized Christa Diepenbrock, NCTC art instructor, for her dedication to guiding students and helping bring the event to life.
At the close of the auction, DeRoche thanked guests, the student artists, and the Greater Denton Arts Council for their contributions to the successful event.
