Whether you’re interested in a high-tech job like cyber security, a career in nursing, agriculture, business management, or one of many other fields, our CTE programs teach the skills you need to enter into, or up-skill within, your desired career!
Types of Awards, Certificates & Degrees
You can earn multiple awards and certificates on your way to an AAS Degree. Read about the types of awards, certificates and degrees below.
An OSA is a sequence of courses containing 9-14 credit hours and is usually completed in one semester.
A Level 1 Certificate may have 15-42 credit hours and is usually completed in one to three semesters. It may be called a basic certificate or a certificate.
A Level 2 Certificate may have 30-51 credit hours and is usually completed in two to three semesters. Students enrolled in a Level 2 Certificate program must meet the requirements of the Texas Success Initiative (TSI).
The AAS Degree is usually earned in two years with 60 credit hours minimum completed. Students enrolled in an AAS program must meet the requirements of the Texas Success Initiative (TSI).
Agriculture
Agriculture refers to industries that grow crops, raise animals and livestock, grow decorative plants, and/or conserve and preserve wildlife and their natural habitats.

Whether entrepreneurship, human resources, or accounting, we have programs specifically designed to help you meet your goals.
Child Development
Through the program, you’ll have the opportunity to learn the requirements and responsibilities to properly care for children from infancy to 8 years old. Courses taken will also meet the requirements needed to test for the Child Development Associate (CDA) credential.
Information Technology

Criminal Justice
